Applicants for a TVDL, who used a false social security number to obtain a prior driver's license are directed to report to the Illinois State Police to straighten out the issue.   This is may frighten most applicants from proceeding.  Please contact our office for more information.

Although USCIS is not accepting applications at this time, qualified immigrants may prepare now by gathering documentation that establish their qualifications such as the following:

  • Identity
  • Relationship to a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; and
  • Continuous residence in the United States over the last five years or more.

Just a few minutes ago, the president announced his immigration plan.  President Obama made the following outline for providing qualified immigrants seeking relief from deportation:

1.  Lived in the country for more than 5 years.
2.  Child who is american citizen or is adjusting their status.
3.  No criminal record.
4.  Pay a fee.
5.  Have no criminal record.
6.  Paid taxes.

Secretary Napolitano Announces Deferred Action Process for Young People Who Are Low Enforcement Priorities
